Welcome to Renewing Our Thoughts! My name is Pauline. I'm a writer, teacher, pianist, and - most importantly - a Christian.

My generation, the Millenials, is a confused generation. The input we've had from teachers, from media, and even from some churches has led to muddled thinking. In The Screwtape Letters, C. S. Lewis describes the phenomenon like this: "Your man has been accustomed, ever since he was a boy, to have a dozen incompatible philosophies dancing about together inside his head. He doesn't think of doctrines as primarily 'true' or 'false', but as 'academic' or 'practical', 'outworn' or 'contemporary', 'conventional' or 'ruthless'." Those words were published in the 1940s, and dare I say, the problem has gotten worse. My goal with this blog is to re-establish what is true or false in our thinking today, starting with worldview.
